*Please be mindful not to create duplicate applications. Step 3: Submit Your Application If this is your first time receiving a grant from The Kahlert Foundation you are required to submit an LOI by February 1. First-time Grantee: Use access code UTAHLOI for a Letter of Intent.
Returning Grantee: Use access code UTAHGRANT for a full application. Click Here to access the grant management system. Letter Of Intent (LOI) Deadline: Submit by February 1.
Application Deadline: Submit by April 1 for review at the June board meeting. Decisions: You will be notified, if approved, within two weeks following the meeting. Distributions: Approved grants will be sent via ACH by July 30.

org. Utah grant requests are reviewed once a year at the June board meeting. It is important to submit applications before April 1 or the application will not be considered until the following fiscal year.
The earlier a grant request is received the greater the likelihood the grant will be reviewed and presented at the June board meeting. Organizations will be notified of the decision by the board of directors in July following the board meeting. The Foundation deeply appreciates all the thoughtful ideas and proposals submitted for consideration.
However, given our limited resources, we are unfortunately unable to meet with and support each organization, even though we recognize the value and potential of each one. We are committed to maximizing the impact of our resources, and we sincerely thank you for your understanding and continued dedication to your important work.
