When you join our free Enterprise programme, you’ll learn about budgeting, cashflow, book-keeping and tax. You’ll work alongside a dedicated King’s Trust contact and have the opportunity to apply for funding to test or start your business. The King's Trust offers funding for different stages of your business journey.
## Want to test if your business idea will work in practice? You can apply for a Test My Business Idea grant of up to £500. Consider this if you: * are thinking about starting your own business * have a business idea (or ideas!)

We offer Start Up funding to help cover start up costs before you launch your business. And if it's less than 3 years since you became a Trust–supported business, you can also apply for Start Up funding to continue your business growth.
### Apply for up to £30,000 in a combination of: * Start Up Grant of up to £5,000 * Start Up Loan of between £500 and £25,000 ## You’re ready for Start Up funding if you have: * considered the short and long-term goals of your business plan * completed your market research and, if possible, tested your business idea * confidence in your business plan and are ready to action it * created your cashflow forecast and know the money your business needs to meet its goals.

If it's less than 3 years since you launched your business with support from The King's Trust (or The Prince's Trust before we changed our name), you can also apply for Start Up funding to continue your business growth.
