* New Grads + Early Talent ### New Grads + Early Talent Whether you're fresh out of university or a few years into your career, you'll be treated like any other Palantirian as soon as you walk through the door. You will work on small, decentralized teams that will give you the ability to have high ownership, but also receive support as you navigate your early career.
Early talent opportunities are open to students who will graduate from their program in Fall 2025 and Spring 2026, or individuals with less than six months of industry experience. **Where are New Grads based? What are the relocation benefits?
** * New Grads are located across all of our offices including New York, Washington, DC, Palo Alto, Seattle, & London. This differs from role to role; your Recruiter can give you further insight on where you could possibly land. * Palantir will cover relocation costs for those who qualify!
In order to qualify for relocation, you must be moving to a Palantir office 50 miles or further from your current home. **How are New Grads placed on teams? ** * Team placement at Palantir is heavily contingent on the information gathered during the interview process including your experiences, interests, motivations, as well as what Palantir as a business needs.
* We think of team matching as a Venn Diagram, with one side of the diagram being YOUR experiences, areas of expertise, strengths and interests, and the other side being the business needs of Palantir at any given point. As needs are constantly evolving, we hope to find that middle of the Venn Diagram - the intersection between yourself and Palantir! **What qualities is Palantir looking for in a New Grad hire?
** * It’s very important for our New Grads to be independent problem solvers and able to communicate technical concepts effectively. We’re looking for people who are motivated by our mission and enthusiastic about making a lasting impact. **What does career growth look like at Palantir?
** * Instead of a traditional corporate ladder, we celebrate individuals’ strengths, skills, and interests by offering a customizable career path. This means it’s up to you to explore with your mentors and lead what growth might look like for you. It also means that the best idea wins, and that idea could come from anyone in the organization, regardless of tenure.
**I am an international student. Do you sponsor visas? ** * Yes, we are supportive of visas and have a great Mobility Team who can help answer any questions or work through nuances of living and working abroad.
**What is the difference between a Software Engineer and Forward Deployed Software Engineer? ** * Software Engineers (Devs) are part of our Product Development org — think of a more traditional-style of software engineering role. * Forward Deployed Software Engineers (Deltas) are part of our Business Development org, and their mandate is to achieve technical and operational outcomes for our customers.
* You can think of a Dev’s focus as “one capability, many customers,” while a Delta’s focus is “one customer, many capabilities. ” * For more information, check out this blog post! Our small, hands-on program provides structure to help Interns develop technical skills and make meaningful connections within Palantir.

This must be your final internship before graduation. Palantir internships are open to students who will graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in 2027. **What types of internships does Palantir have?
** * While the majority of our internships are technical (Dev, Delta), we have all types of internships - ranging from Engineering to Recruiting! To see the variety, go to our careers page and filter by “Internships." **When can I do an internship, and how long will it be?
** * Typically, our US- and London-based internships are 12 weeks long and run sometime between May and September - there are four separate start dates to accommodate multiple university calendars. * Let your Recruiter know if you’re looking for an “off-season” internship or if your school requires a longer program. * Want more?
Year at Palantir is a full-year internship for students who want to take time away from school and go deeper — real work, real responsibility, from day one. **Where are interns based? ** * The majority of our Interns land in our hub offices, including New York, Washington DC, London, Sydney, Tokyo, and Palo Alto.
As we grow, so do our location offerings! Keep up-to-date on where we host Interns on the careers page. **How are interns placed on teams?

** * You will go through Intern Onboarding during your first week to ramp up on Palantir systems, meet your Intern Cohort, get exposure to experienced Palantirians, and train on either Gotham or Foundry. * All Interns are paired with a Lead and a Mentor who work closely with them throughout their internship. Your Mentor will be there to help answer any questions you have day to day.
Your Lead will track your progress at a higher level, ensuring you are continually growing and adding meaningful value to Palantir’s work. * Additionally, Interns have others in their orbit to help support them and their experience throughout the summer, including their Recruiter, affinity groups, Intern Program Managers and their Intern Cohort. ### Meritocracy Fellowship College may not be for everyone.
