Q: Does The Moody Endowment only fund organizations and projects located in the state of Texas? A: Grants can be made and distributed anywhere in the continent of The United States. Q: Does my organization need to be a 501c(3) nonprofit in order to receive a grant from The Moody Endowment?

A: Yes, we only make grants to 501c(3) organizations. Must be an eligible grant recipient, which means an organization that is either: a registered tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization classified as a public charity a governmental or public entity (e.g., a municipality, health department, or university/school), certain types of supporting organizations under Section 509(a)(3), or a private operating foundation.

The Endowment will not consider grants to the following types of organizations or for the following purposes: Private foundations that are not private operating foundations, or Political organizations, political candidates, lobbyists or related organizations. Q: Does The Moody Endowment only fund projects related to the medical field?

A: No, while The Moody Endowment was established as a support organization for TLC – Moody Neurorehabilitation Institute. We can grant to qualified organization and can fund research related to rehabilitation and recovery neurological disorders, and other Charitable Scientific, Literary or Education Q: Approximately how long does it take to have my grant application reviewed and either approved or denied for funding?

A: Our grant application process takes 60-90 days. Cycle 1: October 16, 2025 – December 18, 2025 Cycle 2: January 1, 2026 – March 30, 2026 Cycle 3: April 17, 2026 – June 29, 2026 Cycle 4: July 17, 2026 – September 21, 2026 Q: Upon grant funding approval, how long until I receive grant funds?

A: Once you receive notification of funding approval, and upon execution of the contract and after all contractual requirements are met, you will receive grant funds within 30 days. Q: If my initial grant proposal is not approved, can I submit another grant inquiry for a different project at a later time? A: Yes, if you grant proposal is denied, you may submit future grant request for different projects.
