The Olympic Club Foundation Grants

The Olympic Club Foundation Grants is a Bay Area program that funds organized youth athletic programs serving students in K–12th grade, with priority given to programs serving at-risk youth. Grants are up to $25,000, with an average award of approximately $9,500. Eligible costs include uniforms, equipment, coaching staff, facility rentals, entrance fees, team travel, player fees, and referee fees.

Programs must serve youth in at least one of nine Bay Area counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, or Sonoma. Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) nonprofits or organizations with a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor. Grant applications for the 2026 cycle opened January 15, 2026; new applicants must first submit a Letter of Intent.

Apply for a Grant — The Olympic Club Foundation PLEASE NOTE: Funds awarded for the 2026 Grant Cycle are distributed in late December and intended for use in 2027. Baseball, basketball, volleyball, football, boxing, swimming, soccer, rugby, golf, tennis.... if it happens on a court or a field, in a pool or in a ring, our goal is to see all kids given a chance to participate in a sport at any level.

It is our core belief that participation in youth sports is an empowering force that teaches valuable life skills of leadership, teamwork, trust, communication and accountability -plus many more- that shapes today's youth into tomorrow's leaders. aPPLICANT EliGIbility and guidelines The OCF supports organized youth athletic programs. The Foundation will consider grant requests up to $25,000 that fall within the parameters below.

The Olympic Club Foundation funds: Programs serving youth in K-12th grade with priority given to programs serving at-risk youth Program Support: costs associated with uniforms, equipment, coaching staff, facility rentals, entrance fees, team travel costs, player fees for sports teams, referees, etc. Programs serving youth in at least one of the following Bay Area counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma Organizations with a current tax exempt status or have a fiscal sponsor that is tax exempt under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) and "not a private foundation" as defined in Internal Revenue Code Sections 509(a) and 170(b)(1)(A).

The Olympic Club Foundation does not fund: Applications submitted directly by Unified School Districts Requests for administrative and operating costs Therapeutic athletic activities, academic programs, playgrounds, non-sports summer camps and nutrition programs Grant Applications will be accepted starting January 15, 2026. Programs who have never received funding from The Olympic Club Foundation must first complete the Letter of Intent.
