Phoenix Foundation Community Grants – Phoenix Foundation Phoenix Foundation Community Grants Phoenix Foundation Regular Granting Cycle The 2026 granting session will be open March 1, 2026. Beginning March 1st and through to March 31st you may submit a Community Grant Application. Through the Grants tab above, you may find information on eligibility, forms, and historical information to assist your efforts.

The deadline for submissions is firm at 11:59 pm on March 31st. Phoenix Foundation/Beem Credit Union Health Care Legacy Grant The purpose of the Legacy Fund is to disperse the full value of the endowment fund over the course of a five-year period.

To ensure the sustainability of health care in the Boundary and surrounding communities, the Phoenix Foundation will open round three applications March 1 – 31, 2026 to support individuals wishing to enroll or have enrolled in education and/or training in health care or a related field and to support community service organizations and businesses that target health care needs in the Boundary. The minimum funding request is $2,500.

Multi-year funding will be considered. There has been $275,000 distributed in the Legacy Healthcare Grant to date. To submit an application to the Phoenix Foundation.

Route Three Racing Greenwood The Phoenix Foundation’s Community Grants Program covers the Boundary region’s geographic area which includes the communities of Bridesville, Carmi, Westbridge, Beaverdell, Christian Valley, Rock Creek, Kettle Valley, Midway, Greenwood, Grand Forks, and Christina Lake.

The Phoenix Foundation of the Boundary Communities does NOT fund: 100% of the project cost (only considered at the discretion of the granting committee) An organizations operational or core expenses including consumables For Legacy Healthcare – no regular living expenses Retroactive funding, or for any project expenses to be incurred prior to the Foundation’s decision date Debt retirement, reserves, or mortgage pay downs Activities of organization that serve primarily their own membership and/or their direct purposes Sabbatical leaves, Employment Leaves of Absence, student exchanges Endowment grants Activities funded through Government funding Amateur sports School District projects or construction (including post-secondary) Publication of books Support for dissertation research View the Community Grants Archive for a history of grants awarded to address past years community concerns and goals.

The Phoenix Foundation encourages potential community grant applications to review the most recent Vital Signs Report as a source of information and ideas for projects that could most benefit the Boundary communities. When are grants distributed? Each spring, the Phoenix Foundation starts the community granting process with an information session designed to help applicants with the grant process, followed by a call for proposals.

Eligible applicants are encouraged to submit a Community Grant Application by March 31st of the granting year, outlining their project, budget and funding. Those applicants that meet the Foundation’s criteria are informed by the Foundation after a review and selection by the Grant Committee and have a year from grant award notification to complete their projects and submit a Final Report detailing the project’s completion.

All successful grantees will be asked to sign a Terms and Conditions letter. The foundation expects community grant recipients to follow a specific list of performance and management procedures during their project. Monitoring of projects will be performed by the Phoenix Foundation to ensure funds are used appropriately.

Phoenix Foundation community grant recipients are required to recognize the support received from Phoenix as per the terms and conditions agreement. Below are resources to support you in recognizing Phoenix with our logo or through media. Neighbourhood Small Grants Logo
