Micro Grants for Social Change | The Pollination Project Empowering Visionary Changemakers with Seed Funding for Global Transformation. The Pollination Project Foundation empowers passionate volunteers across the globe by providing the critical funding they need to uplift their communities, cultures and countries. Recognizing the untapped potential of frontline changemakers, we bridge the gap in resources with grants up to $500.
These small yet powerful investments have shown us that even modest support can ignite significant impact. Our dedicated team of 75 grant advisors and 5 country coordinators, all experts in their fields, guide our funding decisions to ensure every dollar fuels meaningful change.
Beyond financial support, The Pollination Project Foundation assists grantees in taking their initial steps towards fundraising and offers first belief in their mission. Additionally, we offer capacity-building workshops, mindfulness retreats to prevent burnout, and resource navigation to ensure that our grantees’ work achieves tangible goals.

Many of them are Black women and men working in communities shaped by generations of inequity, choosing to show up anyway. Today we honor them, and the stubborn, radical belief that freedom deferred is not freedom denied forever.

That choice kept her debt-free and opened doors her degree never could. Now, Dorcas Ayodele is making sure young people in Abuja, Nigeria, don`t have to wait as long as she did.
Through the Plethora Literacy Club, Dorcas runs a school-based program teaching students financial literacy, digital skills, and entrepreneurship, starting from where most systems stop: childhood. Because she knows that the earlier young people understand money, value, and ethical earning, the more agency they carry into adulthood.
In just two school terms, students have completed a savings challenge, visited local markets to learn pricing and negotiation, designed on Canva, and transformed waste textiles into handmade purses and tote bags they can be proud of. The Pollination Project is proud to fund Dorcas and the Plethora Literacy Club through a seed grant.
