They prioritize projects in their early stages, led by small groups, and rooted in compassion.

Micro Grants for Social Change | The Pollination Project Empowering Visionary Changemakers with Seed Funding for Global Transformation. The Pollination Project Foundation empowers passionate volunteers across the globe by providing the critical funding they need to uplift their communities, cultures and countries. Recognizing the untapped potential of frontline changemakers, we bridge the gap in resources with grants up to $500.

These small yet powerful investments have shown us that even modest support can ignite significant impact. Our dedicated team of 75 grant advisors and 5 country coordinators, all experts in their fields, guide our funding decisions to ensure every dollar fuels meaningful change.

Beyond financial support, The Pollination Project Foundation assists grantees in taking their initial steps towards fundraising and offers first belief in their mission. Additionally, we offer capacity-building workshops, mindfulness retreats to prevent burnout, and resource navigation to ensure that our grantees’ work achieves tangible goals.

For farm animal advocates, we are able to offer large initial capital and follow on funding of up to $10,000. At TPP, we believe in people, so we invest in people.

Spandhana – A Gratitude Letter from India Location : Ramanagara, INDIA Since 2019, Spandhana has used TPP’s support to train women agricultural workers across India in sustainable farming, nutrition, and organic kitchen gardening, then followed up with weekly village visits to help those gardens thrive.

Beyond agriculture, the organization has spent over two decades helping unorganized workers, including construction and beedi workers, access Labour Cards, government insurance, pensions, and other social security benefits they’re entitled to. In 2022, she received the Citizen of the Year Award from Grupo Salinas for her advocacy on behalf of all living beings. Her why: "I believe that struggles must be collective, each person contributing within their capabilities. I am convinced and grateful to be part of this panel, a way to guide and support colleagues and continue working for non-human animal rights."

Samanta Fabbris is about to find out, and she`s bringing Rio de Janeiro with her.

A food activist since her teens, Samanta has spent her career working at the intersection of nutrition, agroecology, and social justice — from researching solidarity kitchens and women-led farming cooperatives in the outskirts of Brasília, to advocating for food policy reform at Brazil`s Institute for Consumer Defense.

Now, with a seed grant from The Pollination Project, she`s turning that expertise toward one of the most consequential food policy opportunities in Latin America: shaping Rio`s Sustainable Development and Climate Action Plan. Rio has had a sustainability roadmap since 2021 — but food systems? Largely absent.

Samanta is working to change that. She`s analyzing the current plan, producing a findings report, facilitating participatory workshops with civil society, and co-developing a dedicated food systems chapter with agroecology leaders, food policy NGOs, and government officials.

Here`s why it matters: food-related consumption is one of the top sources of urban greenhouse gas emissions — and a significant share is driven by animal-sourced and ultra-processed products. Getting this right in Rio isn`t just a local win. It`s a replicable model for cities everywhere.

Grassroots philanthropists made this possible. A single seed grant, placed in the right hands at the right moment, can move policy — and policy can move the plates of millions.
