The Pollination Project Foundation empowers passionate volunteers across the globe by providing the critical funding they need to uplift their communities, cultures and countries. Recognizing the untapped potential of frontline changemakers, we bridge the gap in resources with grants up to $500.
These small yet powerful investments have shown us that even modest support can ignite significant impact. Our dedicated team of 75 grant advisors and 5 country coordinators, all experts in their fields, guide our funding decisions to ensure every dollar fuels meaningful change.
Beyond financial support, The Pollination Project Foundation assists grantees in taking their initial steps towards fundraising and offers first belief in their mission. Additionally, we offer capacity-building workshops, mindfulness retreats to prevent burnout, and resource navigation to ensure that our grantees’ work achieves tangible goals.
For farm animal advocates, we are able to offer large initial capital and follow on funding of up to $10,000. At TPP, we believe in people, so we invest in people. ✴️ What draws you to operations, and how did that path lead you to The Pollination Project? Early in my nonprofit career, I kept seeing organizations doing vital, world-changing work get held back by the business operations side of things. I decided to go back to school to obtain my MBA with one goal in mind: to help organizations that help animals run better.
Operations is where that clicks for me. It isn`t the flashy part, but it`s the behind the scenes work that lets a mission-driven team deliver on its mission. That thread runs through everything I`ve done, from working in the vegan food tech space to helping other nonprofits.
I`ve known of The Pollination Project for over a decade, so I was thrilled when a position popped up that aligned so closely with my skills! ✴️ What`s the most rewarding part of building that behind-the-scenes structure? The most rewarding part is quieter than people might expect.
It`s the moment I solve a pain point for someone on the team by bringing clarity to a process, removing a bottleneck, or taking something off their plate through an automation. This work gives them more time to support grassroots changemakers. So in a way, every problem I solve behind the scenes turns into more energy going straight into our programs work and the people we exist to serve.
✴️ How does your personal commitment as an animal advocate show up in the way you approach your work at TPP? I went vegan over 20 years ago after seeing a documentary about how remarkable farm animals are. I learned that I didn`t need to contribute to their suffering to live a healthy life, and began exploring careers to help animals.

As founder of Just Help, he built a fast, accountable way to get insulin to displaced Ukrainians in Georgia who couldn`t wait for paperwork or a system to catch up. With a $500 seed grant from The Pollination Project, Just Help purchased and delivered 22 packs of insulin, NovoRapid, Apidra, and Lantus, reaching 7 people with 3 months of life-saving therapy.
Volunteers maintained 100% cold-chain compliance, moving medication from secure storage into patients` hands without delay. "We want to express our deepest gratitude not just for the funds, but for the trust you placed in a small, grassroots initiative like ours," Evgenii shared. Small grants, when they land in the right hands, can protect health while a community-led solution grows.
