Applications | The Provident Bank Foundation 2025-27 Empowerment Grant Partners 2025-27 Empowerment Grant Partners We have committed to funding $500,000 in grants in 2026 through our new Empowerment Grant program. The 2026 grant cycle will be open from April 1–30. PBF will accept Applications on a rolling basis from 9:00 AM EST on April 1, 2026, until 5:00 PM EST on April 30, 2026.
Empowerment Grants will be awarded to eligible organizations in the range of $5,000-$10,000 per year for two years for organizations with operating budgets between $50,000-$1 million per year, and in the range of $10,000-$25,000 per year for two years for organizations with operating budgets between $1 million-$15 million per year. (updated 1/6/2026) In 2026, Empowerment Grants will provide two years of flexible funding support for programs, projects, or initiatives that are based within our geographic footprint and align with at least one of our funding priorities and the corresponding areas of interest. Grants must demonstrate community enhancement and meaningful impact over the grant term. PBF will not be accepting Signature Grant applications in 2026.
The Signature Grant program emphasizes sustainable community enhancement, meaningful impact, and long-term change. We seek to build relationships with organizations that have the capacity and drive to facilitate the creation or expansion of programs that address the chronic problems impacting quality of life in our communities.
Signature Grants will provide multi-year, flexible funding support paid out over one, two, or three years for bold, innovative programs that propose solutions to these problems. PBF will not be accepting Signature Grant applications in 2026. Important Instructions for submitting a request Please read the Guidelines and follow all instructions and deadlines carefully.
Failure to follow directions may result in requests being denied. All requests must be submitted through PBF's Salesforce portal. Ensure all required documents are attached.
Only complete applications will be reviewed. Late submissions will not be accepted. No changes or additions will be accepted after submission.
PLEASE NOTE: Requests will not be accepted from organizations with active grants from PBF. We must also be in receipt of all progress reports from previous grants. The Provident Bank Foundation is on Salesforce!
