The Quell Foundation Bridge the Gap Clinical Licensure Grant

The Quell Foundation Bridge the Gap Clinical Licensure Grant is sponsored by The Quell Foundation. This grant supports individuals who have earned a Master's degree in a mental health-related field eligible for clinical licensure. It aims to strengthen the mental health workforce by supporting individuals entering the profession, expanding access to high-quality mental health services, and promoting systemic change.

Scholarships & Grants - The Quell Foundation The Quell Foundation Survivor Scholarship is awarded to select high school seniors or current undergraduate/graduate students who have experienced the devastating loss of a parent, caregiver, or sibling to suicide.

The award was established by The Quell Foundation’s Irene Pasierb Memorial Fund as a means to educate communities and individuals about the disparities in care and effective treatment protocols afforded to the vulnerable and stigmatized population with a mental illness.

Materials required to apply include: 2 letters of recommendation (professor, coach, counselor or manager) Form 1040, Student Aid Report, or Tax Return Form First Responder Legacy Scholarship The Quell Foundation First Responder Legacy Scholarship is awarded to select high school seniors or current undergraduate/graduate students who have experienced the devastating loss of a parent (who served as a first responder- ie law enforcement, fire, EMS, dispatch, corrections) to a line of duty death or suicide.

This award is established to further educate communities on the unique pressures faced by first responders, and their families, as well as to foster an understanding and support of their invaluable contributions.

Materials required to apply include: 2 letters of recommendation (professor, coach, counselor, or manager) Form 1040, Student Aid Report, or Tax Return Form The Quell Foundation Fighter Scholarship is awarded to select high school seniors or current undergraduate/graduate students that are being treated for a diagnosed mental health condition.

The Quell Foundation Awareness Fund established the award to improve the care and treatment of people with mental health challenges.

Materials required to apply include: 2 letters of recommendation (professor, coach, counselor or manager) Form 1040, Student Aid Report, or Tax Return Form Documentation from a mental health professional that you are active in services Bridge the Gap Clinical Licensure Grant The Quell Foundation Bridge the Gap Clinical Licensure Grant is awarded to an individual who has earned a Master’s degree in a mental health–related field that is eligible for clinical licensure in the state in which the recipient plans to practice.

This grant evolved from the Foundation’s former Bridge the Gap Scholarship , which provided tuition assistance, and was redesigned to more directly strengthen the need of the mental health workforce by supporting individuals entering the profession, expanding access to high-quality mental health services, and promoting systemic change that broadens the reach and impact of clinical and behavioral health care.

Applications for The Quell Foundation Bridge the Gap Clinical Licensure Grant are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed by the selection committee twice annually. Awardees will be notified by June 30 and December 30 of each calendar year.

This distinguished award includes: Fully-funded virtual clinical supervision , provided through an approved supervision partner, to support the recipient’s progress toward licensure in one of the following professional designations: Addiction Counselor, Advanced Masters-Level Marriage and Family Therapist Professional / Mental Health Counselor Clinical-Level Social Worker Materials required to apply include: Master’s degree in a mental health field that leads to clinical licensure in the state in which the applicant plans to practice Employment within the United States , with primary job responsibilities that meet their state’s requirements for supervised clinical practice.
