The Soccer Fund (Mini-Pitch System™ or Soccer Lighting Projects) is sponsored by U.S. Soccer Foundation and Musco Sports Lighting. The Soccer Fund offers financial support for sports lighting projects and Mini-Pitch System™ installations. This program aims to increase access to quality soccer programs and safe places to play in underserved communities.

Empowering Youth and Impacting Communities Nationwide When the U.S. Soccer Foundation launched the It’s Everyone’s Game movement in 2017, it was a commitment to empowering youth in historically under-resourced communities with critical life skills like teamwork and confidence that will help them succeed on and off the field.

In the years since, It’s Everyone’s Game and the Foundation’s Soccer for Success program have impacted countless youth across hundreds of communities through expanded opportunities to participate in sports and recreation. Interested in Sports Lighting or a Mini-Pitch System™?

Each year, the Foundation and its partners award new sports lighting and Mini-Pitch Systems to soccer programs across the country as a way to help them improve and expand sports and recreation opportunities. We encourage you to apply to The Soccer Fund and, along with the Foundation, we’ll evaluate your application for funding consideration to put towards a new lighting system and/or new Mini-Pitch System.

Mini-Pitch System™ Apply to the Soccer Fund Launching Bright Futures – The Newark Soccer Initiative One of the first projects that came to life through Musco’s partnership with the Foundation was the Newark Soccer Initiative.

With fellow partners Wells Fargo, Newark Public Schools, and the New York Red Bulls, we installed several Mini-Pitch Systems in Newark neighborhoods, providing youth with safer, high-quality facilities for after-school recreational programming.
