The Survivor Safety Fund is sponsored by FreeFrom. The Survivor Safety Fund is an open-application, unrestricted cash grant program that provides survivors of intimate partner violence with resources to live safely and independently, meeting basic needs like food, rent, and utilities.

Healing is hard and it happens in community. We are stronger when we share our knowledge, show up for one another, and build together. Below, you’ll find programs and resources designed to support your financial healing, build community, and create agency on your terms.

FINANCIAL SAFETY & GROWTH Get flexible, no-strings-attached cash assistance that you can spend as you see fit to help with birthday gifts, car expenses, healing resources, rent, utilities, or anything else you need.

Our savings matching program supports survivors in building up to $1,440 in emergency savings over a year by matching dollar to dollar up to $55 per month with a $120 bonus. Community Financial Coaching Online group coaching led by FreeFrom in which survivors can share financial challenges and brainstorm ways to address them in community. Our 12-week program supports survivors in building community, financial knowledge, and resilience.

Online collection of resources to support survivors, advocates, and community members in navigating financial challenges and building stability. Monthly webinars on a financial topic such as building credit, managing debt, and healing your money story. Understand your legal rights to financial compensation—and economic justice.

We’ll walk you through your legal options for reimbursement. Movement and Leadership Learnings Monthly meetings for survivors, activists, and changemakers to gather, learn, and share about how we can build a movement. Online workshops led by survivor experts on a variety of topics from personal financial safety to creative skills.

Survivor Advocates Network In-person gatherings in Los Angeles, CA for survivor advocates to connect, share insights, and create change in the anti-violence movement. Three-day Summit in August 2025 focused on celebrating survivors, our communities, our healing, and our future.
