Thrive Grants is sponsored by Community Foundation of Jackson Hole. Thrive Grants support a range of nonprofit work addressing the diverse needs and interests of the community in Teton County, Wyoming. Funding can support new or existing programs, capital projects, equipment purchases, capacity building, or general operations.

A com­pre­hen­sive look into Teton Coun­ty, WY orga­ni­za­tions that help our com­mu­ni­ty run Thrive Grants (formerly Competitive Grants) Sup­port­ing diverse com­mu­ni­ty needs Each year, the Com­mu­ni­ty Foun­da­tion awards Thrive Grants (for­mer­ly Com­pet­i­tive Grants) to sup­port orga­ni­za­tions address­ing impor­tant com­mu­ni­ty needs in Teton Coun­ty, Wyoming.

Fund­ing deci­sions are made by a vol­un­teer Grants Com­mit­tee com­prised of ded­i­cat­ed com­mu­ni­ty mem­bers with a range of inter­ests and experience. The 2026 Thrive Grants appli­ca­tion closed on March 4 . The 2027 appli­ca­tion will open in late January.

Email grants@​cfjacksonhole. ​org Eligibility & Requirements Appli­cant must be a 501 (c)( 3 ) non­prof­it, gov­ern­ment enti­ty, or oth­er IRS-rec­og­nized char­i­ta­ble orga­ni­za­tion serv­ing Teton Coun­ty, Wyoming OR be fis­cal­ly-spon­sored by an enti­ty that meets these require­ments.

(No for-prof­it appli­cants, even with a qual­i­fied fis­cal sponsor.) Grant funds must be used exclu­sive­ly in and for the ben­e­fit of Teton Coun­ty, Wyoming. Funds may not be used for debt retire­ment or reli­gious or polit­i­cal activities.

Applicant’s work must not be pri­mar­i­ly focused on influ­enc­ing legislation. Grant funds may not be used for a project or train­ing that has already been completed. Thrive Grants typ­i­cal­ly awards a total of $ 700 , 000 – 800 , 000 per year to eli­gi­ble orga­ni­za­tions serv­ing Teton Coun­ty, Wyoming.

Appli­cants may request $ 3 , 000 – 30 , 000 . Pro­pos­als may be par­tial­ly funded. 2026 Thrive Grants mean award = $ 14 , 000 / medi­an award = $ 13 , 000 Thrive Grants sup­port a range of non­prof­it work address­ing the diverse needs and inter­ests of our com­mu­ni­ty.

Appli­ca­tions from eli­gi­ble orga­ni­za­tions serv­ing Teton Coun­ty, Wyoming are wel­come. Appli­cants may request fund­ing to sup­port new or exist­ing pro­grams, cap­i­tal projects, equip­ment pur­chas­es, capac­i­ty build­ing, or gen­er­al oper­a­tions. Requests that have been fund­ed by the Com­mu­ni­ty Foun­da­tion or request­ed with­in the past 12 months may not be resubmitted.

Orga­ni­za­tions out­side of Teton Coun­ty, Wyoming that wish to apply for fund­ing for ser­vices offered in Teton Coun­ty must con­tact the Com­mu­ni­ty Foun­da­tion ( grants@​cfjacksonhole. ​org ) in advance of applying.

2027 Time­line (dates TBA fall 2026 ) Late Jan­u­ary to ear­ly March: appli­ca­tion peri­od ~ 5 ‑week appli­ca­tion peri­od intend­ed to allow appli­cants time to coor­di­nate with orga­ni­za­tions and estab­lish strate­gic project partnerships Ear­ly May: grant notifications Grantees are asked to sub­mit a Grant Report after com­plet­ing their pro­posed work.

The report form focus­es on the work’s impact, eval­u­a­tion strate­gies, any bud­get vari­a­tions, and how the Com­mu­ni­ty Foun­da­tion of Jack­son Hole has been rec­og­nized as a part­ner. Grantees are invit­ed to sub­mit pho­tos if available. Grant Reports are shared with Grants Com­mit­tee mem­bers by request and may influ­ence future grant awards.

Thrive Grants are fund­ed by Old Bill’s CoChal­lengers , indi­vid­ual donors, and endowed funds held at the Com­mu­ni­ty Foun­da­tion of Jack­son Hole.

Infor­ma­tion from your pro­pos­al may be used in Com­mu­ni­ty Foun­da­tion of Jack­son Hole mar­ket­ing mate­ri­als or in grant writ­ing work­shops. The Com­mu­ni­ty Foun­da­tion reserves the right to ver­i­fy any infor­ma­tion pro­vid­ed in your pro­pos­al. This includes but is not lim­it­ed to ref­er­ences to data sources, col­lab­o­ra­tive part­ners, and finan­cial information.
