NTIA is soliciting applications for funds remaining under the Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program (TBCP), authorized by the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021, Division N, Title IX, Section 905(c), Public Law 116-260, 134 Stat. 1182 (Dec. 27, 2020) (Act), as amended by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, Division F, Title II, Section 60201, Public Law 117-58, 135 Stat. 429 (Nov. 15, 2021) (IIJA) (codified at 47 U.S.C. §1705). TBCP provides funding for grants to Eligible Entities to expand access to and adoption of: (i) broadband service on Tribal Land; or (ii) programs that promote remote learning, telework, or telehealth resources. Local Airport Loan Program is sponsored by Department of Transportation. This program provides discretionary State loans to eligible public-use airports for projects that enhance an airport’s ability to provide general aviation services. Types of projects funded by these loans include hangars, General Aviation (GA) terminals, utilities, GA fueling facilities, Caltrans Acquisition and Development eligible projects, or local share for a federal Airport Improvement Program grant. The maximum term of a loan is 17 years. The Department approves the amount of the loan in accordance with the project’s feasibility and the sponsor’s financial situation.
