Recognizing our 31st anniversary is about celebrating the work of the past 31 years and preparing for the next 31. With new diagnoses every day and evolving economic challenges, the demand is greater than ever for the Jay Fund’s critical services and support.
The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund's Impact Player Program allows individuals, groups and organizations to BE THERE for local families tackling childhood cancer through events and campaigns that raise funds and awareness for the Jay Fund. The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund’s Ambassadors are a dedicated team of advocates for families facing childhood cancer.
Our ambassador role is designed to advance the foundation’s mission of being there for families tackling childhood cancer when they need it most. Turning compassion into action The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund’s mission is clear: to help families tackle childhood cancer by providing financial, emotional and practical support. When a child is diagnosed with cancer, families face more than medical treatments.
They face skyrocketing bills, fear, and uncertainty. That’s why we’re in their corner. We step in so parents can focus on what matters most: their child’s well-being.
With 31 years of impact, the Jay Fund ensures that trusted and meaningful support is available in the Jacksonville, New York and New Jersey areas we’re rooted in. Our goal is to BE THERE for parents tackling the unthinkable, so they can BE THERE for their families.
We offer support for rent/mortgage payments, utilities, transportation and groceries, so families can keep moving forward with a roof over their head and food on their table during a time of financial crisis. We create moments of joy and relief–from family outings to special celebrations–giving kids and parents space to make memories together during the toughest times.

NCI Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences (CURE) Academic Career Excellence (ACE) Award (K32) is a grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) that funds early postdoctoral fellows from diverse backgrounds, including underrepresented groups, to pursue research training in cancer-related fields. The K32 award supports fellows within 12 months prior to transitioning into, or within the first two years of, a postdoctoral position. The program, operated through NCI's Center to Reduce Cancer Health Disparities (CRCHD), aims to enhance the pool of qualified diverse cancer researchers. Beginning with the June 12, 2025 due date, the CURE ACE Award is available in both Independent Clinical Trial Required and Independent Clinical Trial Not Allowed versions. Eligible applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents at time of award.
