Agritourism Grant Program | Montana Department of Commerce Agritourism Grant Program Economic Impact and Destination Event Grant Program Montana Tourism Development Grant Program Pilot Community Tourism Grant Program Regional Assistance Program Resiliency Plan Implementation Grant Program Resources and Complementary Programs Rural Tourism Asset Grant Program Tools for FY22 and FY23 Grantees Annual Grant Program Tools for FY23 Grantees Eastern Montana Initiative Tourism Development and Enhancement Revolving Loan Fund In 2025, the passage of Senate Bill 409 revised laws related to the Department of Commerce and the lodging facility use tax, commonly known as the bed tax.
The bill updates SB 540, which passed in 2023, restructuring the allocation of bed tax revenue, specifying how Commerce can use these funds for purposes like tourism promotion and grants. The purpose of Agritourism Grants is to assist Montana’s rural and tribal agricultural businesses and communities and to promote diversification and support in Montana.
Commerce's Destination MT Division will administer Agritourism Grants in accordance with these guidelines. Resources for Applicants: The 2027 Agritourism Grants Program cycle will open Sept. 24, 2026.
