Training Grants - Timothy L Correll Foundation, Inc. Online Teacher Recommendation Online Community Recommendation Timothy L Correll Foundation Inc. The Timothy L Correll Foundation, Inc invests in Minnesota communities by acting as a private-funding resource for local emergency medical services (EMS), fire services, organizations, and public schools for the purpose of emergency and/or preparedness-related training and education.
These awards meet a specific local training need and training must be provided by State accredited instructors/trainers. Please be advised that we do not provide funds for the purchase of equipment.
Grant requests are considered for any of the following: community specific training initiatives, Fire Prevention Week, Emergency Medical Refresher Courses and Recertification, Community Programs, and other needs as long as they fit into an ongoing training program. TLCF reviews training grant requests on an ongoing basis and makes awards based on available funds.
In the last 20 years TLCF has provided grants for training such as auto extrication, combined space, driving apparatus, urban and rural search and rescue, and others; as well as provided funds for fire department community open houses/demonstrations and fire prevention program materials for children in our elementary schools. Lowe's Hometowns Grant Program is sponsored by Lowe's. This program aims to restore and revitalize community spaces across the country through physical renovations. Consumers can nominate a community space in their hometown, such as a neighborhood garden, park, or community center. While broad, it can apply to infrastructure improvements within a community context.
CFNF Helping Today, Shaping Tomorrow Grant is a grant from the Community Foundation of North Florida that funds nonprofits addressing pressing challenges with programs and services of lasting impact in Florida's Big Bend region. Each year, CFNF awards ten grants of $5,000 each to eligible organizations. A separate Arts Nonprofit Grant Cycle awards five grants of $6,000 each for arts organizations in the same region. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations serving one or more of eleven counties including Leon, Gadsden, Jefferson, and Wakulla, with at least two years of operating history in the region. Applications for the Helping Today, Shaping Tomorrow cycle close September 30.
