Transition-to-College Assistance - The Board of Pensions of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Transition-to-College Assistance This grant helps eligible families of post-high school students with ancillary expenses, such as a computer or dorm furnishings. Grants for education-related expenses If you have a child pursuing post-high school education, you may be eligible to receive assistance for expenses.
Any dependent up to age 26 may be eligible if enrolled at least part time at a college, university, community college, or technical or trade school (excludes post-baccalaureate education). You may not apply for more than one grant for the same child. additional $1,000 for full-time attendance at a Presbyterian college or university you must be employed by a Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)
or Korean Presbyterian Church Abroad (KPCA) congregation, mid council, agency, or affiliated organization,* or be a retired member or surviving spouse you must be enrolled for coverage in the Medical Plan or the Defined Benefit Pension Plan or be receiving a retirement or survivor’s pension from the Benefits Plan your household adjusted gross income must not exceed $142,200 in 2026 your dependent child (up to age 26) is entering any year of post-high school education or training: college, university, community college, or technical or trade school (excluding post-baccalaureate) your dependent child is enrolled at least part time (six credits per semester or the equivalent) your dependent child has not previously received Transition-to-College Assistance *Affiliated organizations include senior housing and care facilities, colleges and universities, and camps and conference centers.
