Catherine McAuley Center | A Place of Welcome The Catherine McAuley Center (CMC) is a nonprofit organization in Cedar Rapids, Iowa that welcomes adult learners, refugee and immigrant populations, and women to participate in educational and supportive services. While CMC’s programs serve distinct populations, they are united by a common purpose of promoting the well-being and dignity of individuals in need, as Catherine McAuley did.
One-on-one tutoring and small group classes for adult learners and additional support services for refugees and immigrants. Case management, residential programming, and group learning opportunities for women experiencing homelessness and healing from trauma.

The Homeless Youth Program is a grant from the Illinois Department of Human Services that funds services for homeless and at-risk youth across Illinois.
