Applications for the 2027 True Inspiration Awards will be accepted from now until May 1, 2026.
To be eligible to apply for a True Inspiration Awards grant, an organization should: Be a (i) 501(c)(3) based in the U.S. or (ii) a charitable organization based in Canada, United Kingdom or Singapore that can provide an opinion of counsel that confirms it is the equivalent of a U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity in its home jurisdiction. One organization will be selected as the S. Truett Cathy Honoree.
The S. Truett Cathy Honoree embodies the generous, innovative spirit of Chick-fil-A’s late founder — pioneering new ways to solve problems and serve others. In 2026, we will continue to support nonprofits with a total commitment of $6 million in grants ranging from $30,000-$350,000.
Sixteen organizations will be awarded for their work in these areas. Programs or projects supporting educational initiatives, including fostering character and leadership development, academic excellence and community involvement in underserved youth. Programs or projects focused on addressing hunger and food insecurity facing children and their families.
Programs or projects focused on providing housing and other direct services to support young people and their families.
Programs or projects that show care for our environment and our planet, or that demonstrate environmental stewardship through initiatives directly related to our other True Inspiration Awards categories of food, community and people (i.e., community beautification, education opportunities, community gardens, outdoor classrooms, etc.) These organizations must be nominated by a Chick-fil-A Operator, and Chick-fil-A One ® Customers will have the opportunity to vote on finalists.
