** We are excited to host a one-time pop-up giving circle supporting People of Color in the Jewish Community. A steering committee of engaged Jews of Color has shaped our granting guidelines and created the foundation for our philanthropy. Join us for this exciting opportunity to address communal issues, raise funds, learn from the Jews of Color Initiative, while amplifying personal impact through giving.

In December, our giving circle event will welcome all members of our community who feel called to learn and donate, regardless of identity. **The upcoming Tzedek Fund Pop-Up Giving Circle will be held on the evening of December 4, 2025. ** We hope you will join us.

Participants are asked to contribute a suggested donation of $50 or a gift that is meaningful. Individual contributions to this giving circle will be added to an existing pool of $40K that has been designated for this purpose. Please see the FAQs below on how to get involved.

**History of the Tzedek Fund** _The Tzedek Fund was established in 2020 alongside the Federation’s Racial Justice Task Force. The Fund’s mission is to grant money to organizations supporting or led by Jews of Color (JOC) through Collaborative Philanthropy Initiatives. So far, the Tzedek Fund has granted over $113K through two programs.

The steering committee has met with leadership from the Jews of Color Initiative and the Federation to learn about grantmaking, the experiences of JOC in the Bay Area, and how our own identities and perspectives shape our philanthropy. We are excited to share this knowledge with Tzedek Fund participants at the pop-up giving circle on December 4, 2025.
