P. Health Impact Grant Program is to provide funding for health-centered projects across the Upper Peninsula. Through this program, the Superior Health Foundation seeks to support transformational projects that improve the health and well-being of U.
P. residents. We’re particularly interested in funding projects related to these areas: Strengthening the healthcare workforce Improving access to care at a systemic level Building community capacity to understand and address pressing health issues.
New projects, organizations, and new collaborations between existing entities In previous grant cycles, the Superior Health Foundation has funded a variety of initiatives, including healthcare workforce training, collaborative efforts to improve maternal and infant health, projects that collect and analyze regional health data, and other innovative efforts designed to improve health outcomes across the U. P.
Any tax-exempt organization based in or working in the Upper Peninsula to improve health outcomes in the region, with preference given to grassroots organizations, neighborhood groups, tribal communities, and small and medium-sized nonprofits. Submit a concept paper or schedule a concept call to discuss your project idea. Either a concept call or a concept paper is required before submitting an application.
