UCSF Brain Tumor SPORE Career Enhancement Program (CEP) Awards A component of the UCSF Brain Tumor SPORE, the Career Enhancement Program (CEP) aims to attract outstanding basic scientists and clinical investigators to the field of brain tumor research, to assist in the career development of junior faculty in the basic and clinical sciences, and to encourage collaborations between investigators which can lead to new ideas and directions in brain tumor research and can contribute to career development.
UCSF Prostate Cancer Program Pilot Awards The UCSF Prostate Cancer Program announces an opportunity for pilot research funding in any area of investigation in prostate cancer. Funds are available to support multiple proposals. All areas of prostate cancer research including computational, laboratory, translational, clinical, and population sciences are eligible.

Research projects may focus on any topic related to the scientific study of prostate cancer, including but not limited to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, or etiology of prostate cancer. The investigation of these topics may be basic, translational, behavioral, or clinical in nature.
Upstream Research Center Pilot Grants The Upstream Research Center, co-led by Stanford, UC Davis, and UCSF, invites applications for pilot grants focused on the social drivers of cancer in areas experiencing persistent poverty. Projects must focus on research relevant to exposures experienced in persistent poverty areas in Northern California.
