UFAW Small Research Grants : up to £5,000 (~$6,644. 00) UFAW Large Research Grants : over £5,000 (~$6,644.

In addition they also have a Travel, Training and Other Events Grant, which funds non-research events, such as attending or organizing educational or scientific meetings, lectures, courses or training visits). Animal Welfare Institute Funding Opening AWIFO Refinement Research Award , which provides up to US$15,000 to fund a research project aimed at developing or testing innovative methods of refinement. AWIFO Implementing Refinement Grant , which provides up to US$8,000 toward the implementation of a refinement. The deadline to submit an application will be October 13, 2025, at 11:59pm EST .
