Baltimore Life Science Discovery Accelerator Baltimore Life Science Discovery Accelerator UM-BILD With the support of a four-year, $4 million Research Evaluation and Commercialization Hubs (REACH) grant from the National Institutes of Health, the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) will advance the life science economy in West Baltimore and Greater Baltimore and accelerate the development of the biomedical and innovation workforce in Baltimore.
Baltimore: A Life Science Hotbed UM-BILD is working to make Baltimore the next destination for the life science and biotechnology industry. An incubator and investment opportunities will advance innovative technologies and spur the creation of startups, while workforce development and training programs will create a highly-skilled workforce.
