UMCOR Disaster Relief, Response, and Long-Term Recovery Grants is sponsored by United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR). UMCOR provides relief, response, and long-term recovery grants to assist communities affected by natural or human-caused disasters globally. They also offer technical support and training for partners in disaster relief, recovery, and long-term health and development.

The funds will establish Rio Texas’s Disaster Recovery program, which will support the flood-impacted communities and address their long-term needs.

Supported by UMCOR, partner UPA distributes food to people in Gaza. Since this conflict began in October 2023, the need in Gaza remains overwhelming. UMCOR is actively responding to the humanitarian crisis by awarding grants to local partners in Israel, Gaza and the surrounding region.
