Undergraduate Research Grants

Undergraduate Research Grants is sponsored by Psi Chi, The International Honor Society in Psychology. These grants provide funds for undergraduate Psi Chi student members who will serve as first author and project director.

By providing funds for undergraduate Psi Chi student members who will serve as first author and project director, the Undergraduate Research Grants help to defray direct costs (barring tuition, research assistants, etc.) of the students original, empirical, research project as well as introduce students to the process of applying and managing research grants.

The Undergraduate Research Grants provides funds for well-rounded applications which demonstrate competence of and commitment to psychology’s best research practices. Stipends are available for the faculty sponsors of the highest scoring recipients. Individual grants are up to $1,500.

Applicants experiencing financial hardships may elect to fill out additional prompts to be considered for an additional $2,000 intended for living and research-related travel expenses. Additionally, eleven $1,500 faculty stipends are available per round, with a thirty-three stipends annually available. Faculty stipends are awarded to the highest scoring applications in each round.

Applications for the fall, spring, and summer rounds are due to the application portal by October 15, January 15, and May 1. _The application portal will open approximately 30 days before the deadline. _ _During the time the application portal is closed, the program details of the previous round may be viewed by clicking the Preview/Apply button below.

_ ##### Undergraduate Research Grant Winners #### University of California, Irvine Amanda-Ann recently graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a bachelors in Psychological Science. She is curious about the way people’s environments affect their behavior and subsequent decision-making. In the future, she hopes to attend graduate school to pursue her research interests and contribute to scientific knowledge.

Harshini is a senior at Miami University majoring in Psychology and Neuroscience with a minor in Spanish. Her research is investigating the impact of perinatal methadone exposure, sex, and age on the core components of Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder: hyperactivity, impulsivity, and attention. She plans to pursue graduate training to become a physician-scientist investigating developmental disorders.

#### University of San Diego Michelle Schober is an undergraduate psychology student at the University of San Diego pursuing a pre-medical track with a minor in chemistry. Her research intersects her interests in both psychology and health by focusing on the psychological and physiological effects of self-talk during acute academic stress.

### Griffin Jonathan Perry #### George Mason University Griffin is an upcoming senior at George Mason University who seeks to bridge advocacy, community, and research. Their research interests lie in sociocultural influences on disordered eating and its comorbidities among historically underserved communities, especially LGBTQ and BIPOC populations. They aim to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology.

#### University of Central Oklahoma Greyson Van Nest is an undergraduate senior studying psychology at the University of Central Oklahoma. Their current research focuses on human sexuality through the frameworks of social and evolutionary psychology. They hope to pursue a Social Cognitive Psychology Ph.

D. after graduating. #### Ramapo College of New Jersey Victor is a McNair scholar interested in acquiring a PhD in behavioral neuroscience.

His research interests are the neurobiology of Pavlovian learning and sensory-facilitated learning. Victor has experience in working with rodents and planarian flatworms, where he studies basic learning processes through pharmacological approaches. #### Villanova University Caitlyn Baker is a junior at Villanova University majoring in psychology with minors in criminology and counseling.

Her research examines identity invalidation and monosexism among bisexual individuals and their effects on well-being. She plans to pursue graduate training in school psychology and continue conducting research on marginalized identities. ### Mehakpreet Kaur Saggu #### University of Toronto Mehakpreet Saggu is a neuroscience graduate from the University of Toronto and incoming Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University.

Her research spans memory, decision-making, and moral cognition, with long-term aspirations to become a physician-scientist advancing neuroscience through research, education, and global health leadership. Kira is a senior in the College of Arts & Sciences at Cornell University, where she is majoring in Biological Sciences, Cognitive Science, Psychology, and the Robert S. Harrison College Scholar Program.

Her research focuses on the biological, neurological, and psychological impacts of early adversity on development. Kira plans to continue my research career through graduate study in hopes of mitigating the impacts of early life stress for children and adolescents as a clinical scientist.

### Benjamin Leo Randolph Koehler #### Arizona State University I'm an undergraduate researcher that is interested in understanding the human side of evolving technology and AI. Technology often outpaces our present knowledge in unprecedented ways. It is only through dedicated research and through asking the right questions can we learn how to better collaborate with the world around us.

#### University of Nebraska-Lincoln Zein Saleh is an incoming Social Psychology Ph. D. student at Northwestern University in the Contending with Societal Inequality Lab.

He earned a B. A. in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

His current project investigates how collective nostalgia influences support for social movements and collective action. #### University of California, Santa Barbara Ekaterina Zhosan is a graduating senior at the University of California, Santa Barbara, majoring in Psychological & Brain Sciences with a minor in Applied Psychology. Her research examines personality trait attribution in autistic adolescents.

She plans to pursue a Ph. D. in clinical psychology, with a research focus on neurodevelopmental disorders.

#### Pepperdine University Allison Shah is a rising senior studying psychology and sociology at Pepperdine University. Her current project investigates paternal anxiety and reactive testosterone and cortisol in a pre-parent population. She plans to continue her education and pursue a PhD in clinical psychology.

#### San Jose State University Journey is an extraordinary undergraduate student at San José State University studying psychology and minoring in Black Womens Studies. She conducts research in the Pediatric Development and Language and Biopsychosocial Health and Development labs. As an aspiring School Psychologist, Journey plans to attend graduate school in the fall of 2027!

### John Philipp Standring Philipp Standring is a rising senior studying psychology at Boston University. His current project investigates how emotion variability moderates the relation between emotion regulation variability and depressive symptom severity. He plans to pursue a doctoral degree in clinical psychology.

#### Texas Tech University Dylan is a rising senior at Texas Tech University interested in moral psychology, folk psychology, causal cognition, and lay epistemology. In general, he is curious about how ordinary people make sense of the world, and whether their explanations of action, mind, causation, and knowledge are shaped by moral considerations.

#### University of Central Oklahoma Summer Sweiss is a psychology student at the University of Central Oklahoma. Her current project examines how life history strategy and status-pursuit orientations relate to self-esteem. She plans to continue her education and pursue a PhD in Social Psychology.

#### University of California, Santa Barbara Shirley Qiu is a junior at the University of California, Santa Barbara, double majoring in Psychological & Brain Sciences and Statistics & Data Science. Her research centers on the dynamics of cognitive search and representational change during problem solving. After graduation, she plans to pursue a PhD in cognitive science.

### Katherine Wheaton Wanzenberg #### Wake Forest University Kate is a graduating senior from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC, where she is receiving her B. A. in Psychology with minors in Sociology and Statistics.

She is going on to complete her PhD in School Psychology at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. #### Wenzhou-Kean University Shimeng Wang is a senior psychology student at Wenzhou-Kean University. Her research interests include personality and social psychology, as well as psychological well-being.

She plans to pursue a Research Master’s degree in the Netherlands after completing her bachelor’s degree. #### Western Illinois University Kelsie T. Balagna is a senior Psychology student at Western Illinois University, where she expects to complete her B.

S. in May 2026. She is an undergraduate research assistant in the PEDDLE Lab and an Honors Thesis candidate.

She is a member of Psi Chi and the WIU Honors Program. Savannah is a graduating senior at Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts, completing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Public Health. Her research interests center on child trauma, adverse childhood experiences, and empathy development in early childhood.

She plans to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology with a focus on children. Abbie Schwartz is a junior Psychology major at Vassar College, with interests in clinical and social psychology, and human-technology interaction. She works as a research assistant at Vassar College and the Digital Wellness Lab at Boston Children’s Hospital, and plans to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology.

### Leonardo Giorgioni Figueroa Leonardo Giorgioni Figueroa is a senior at Stetson University majoring in psychology with minors in computer science and mathematics. He plans to pursue a PhD in quantitative psychology in the Netherlands. Nicolas F.

Savino is a Fordham University student and President of the Men’s Mental Health Union. As a student pilot and clinical neurostimulation technician, Nicolas aspires to serve as a U.S. Air Force psychologist, specializing in isolation and solitude studies. He hopes to one day be leading the mission to Mars as a member of NASA.

#### Claremont McKenna College Jason Bao is a junior at Claremont McKenna College majoring in Psychology, Philosophy, and Data Science. His research interests are within long-term memory, where he is particularly fascinated by the role of narrative in structuring our recall and organization of autobiographical memory, from specific episodic events to general life stories.

#### Georgetown University Colin is a senior at Georgetown University from Seattle, Washington. He is a double major in neurobiology and psychology and hopes to earn a Ph. D.

in neuroscience after completing his undergraduate studies. Aydan Coughlin recently graduated from SUNY Cortland in December 2025. Aydan intends to continue his research and academic career in a School Psychology graduate program in the Fall of 2026.

Ziqi (Wallington) Lin is a senior at New York University (Steinhardt) pursuing a B. S. in Applied Psychology with a minor in Public Health.

His research focuses on improving mental health care utilization among underserved populations by advancing culturally responsive and equitable approaches to care #### Wake Forest University Yiwei Tang is a senior at Wake Forest University, majoring in Psychology with minors in Neuroscience and Biology.

She is interested in investigating the neural circuits underlying dynamic computations within and interactions between brain systems and how environmental stimuli are processed and integrated to guide decisions, motivation, and adaptive behaviors. #### Santa Clara University Zander is a senior at Santa Clara University majoring in Neuroscience, Philosophy, and Psychology.

He currently works in four labs, researching a postsynaptic adhesion protein in oligodendrocytes, a novel intervention for postoperative delirium involving intranasal insulin, the effects of a computerized intervention on error-related negativity, and how we derive meaning from intimate relationships.

He hopes to pursue a PhD in Neuroscience, ultimately researching the pathology of thought that underlies various mental disorders including trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Emma is a senior majoring in psychology at Fordham University. Her research examines how disability impacts social integration and belonging on college campuses.

She is passionate about advocacy and conducting research that informs support for underrepresented groups. Ultimately, Emma hopes to pursue a PhD in Clinical or School Psychology. #### The University of Southern Mississippi Zoee Robinson is an honors student majoring in psychology with a minor in criminal justice.

Her research focuses on high-stakes decision-making and mental health stigma. She is particularly interested in the intersection of psychology, law, and justice-involved populations. Wyeth Rossi is a senior studying psychology at Fort Lewis College in the SPEx Lab.

He builds experiments using an ecologically realistic generative AI, estimating causal effects of biased output on trust in AI and consequential behavioral reliance, including AI versus human choices. He is grateful for Dr. Alex Borgella’s mentorship. #### Susquehanna University Natalie Weber is a senior psychology major at Susquehanna University.

Her current research projects examine emotion regulation, internalizing disorders, and barriers to accessing preventative resources against interpersonal violence. She plans to pursue a doctorate in clinical psychology following a post baccalaureate program. Mai is a senior at Union College conducting research projects on social withdrawal and the impact of internet usage on individuals desires to socially withdraw.

Their current project is on the impact of social rejection on desire to socially withdraw and use the internet. Norah Schloneger is a senior Psychology and Sociology major with a focus in Social Work at Butler University. She hopes to attend graduate school for her MSW in the fall.

#### Northern Arizona University Ndina Niesar is a senior at Northern Arizona University studying Psychology with a double minor in Business and Anthropology. Her research examines workplace bereavement, with a focus on disenfranchised grief. After graduation, Ndina plans to pursue a PhD in industrial organizational (I/O) Psychology.

#### Miami University (Oxford) Samuel Neitzke is a senior undergraduate majoring in psychology and minoring in medical sociology at Miami University. A member of the Trauma and Emotion Regulation Lab, his research focuses on maintenance mechanisms of psychological sequalae following childhood emotional maltreatment. After graduation, he plans to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology.

### Katherine Grant Rossley Kate Rossley is a senior at Austin College majoring in neuroscience with a minor in chemistry. Her honors thesis investigates the effects of repeated head impacts in collegiate contact sports. Thanks to Psi Chis support her research aims to deepen our current understanding of brain health in athletic and student populations.

#### Tennessee Tech University Joshua Thomas is a senior majoring in Psychology and minoring in Human Ecology and Family Sciences at Tennessee Technological University. He is planning on pursuing a career in Social Psychology by pursuing a PhD. His research primarily investigates emotions, prosocial behavior, and improving physical and mental health.

#### Barnard College of Columbia University Emma Burris is a senior at Barnard College studying crisis mental healthcare. She plans on pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology. Runchen is a senior at Macalester College, majoring in Psychology and Linguistics with a minor in Statistics.

Her research interests center on the intersection of psychology, linguistics, and cognition, with particular focus on sentence processing and bilingualism. #### University of Kentucky Caleb Dotson is a fourth-year undergraduate studying psychology and neuroscience at the University of Kentucky. He hopes to continue onto a psychology PhD program, expanding research around embodiment, identity, and social spaces.

#### Arizona State University Christina Stewart is a senior studying Psychology and Family and Human Development at Arizona State University. Her research investigates how attachment security is related to curiosity development in early childhood. She plans to pursue a career in clinical psychology specializing in children.

#### University of St. Thomas Grace Tupa is a senior at the University of St. Thomas majoring in psychology and biology.

Her research examines how beliefs individuals hold about emotions shapes the way they experience stress. After graduation, Grace plans to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology. #### Texas Christian University Michael Wrucke is a Senior undergraduate student at Texas Christian University studying Psychology and Health & Fitness.

His research interests include anxiety, health, the psychological effects of injury/illness, and acceptance-based therapies. In the future, he plans to obtain a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and become a clinician-scientist. #### The University of Georgia Vivian Austin is a third-year psychology major at the University of Georgia, minoring in biomedical physiology, anthropology, and studio art.

She serves as secretary of UGA’s Psi Chi chapter and conducts research in two psychology labs, studying infant development and autobiographical memory in individuals with schizophrenia. #### Georgia Southern University Audrey Molter recently graduated with honors in psychology from Georgia Southern University. She served as Psi Chi vice president, peer mentor, and research assistant.

She will begin her M. S. in Experimental Psychology at Georgia Southern in Fall 2025 to continue building her research experience.

#### Otterbein University Double majoring in Psychology and Sustainability Studies, Mitchell Patterson is an undergraduate student at Otterbein University and is currently entering his 4th year. His research examines the impact of value systems and social contexts on pro-environmental behavior, specifically with materialism and donations to environmental organizations.

#### New York Institute of Technology Ayesha Mulla is a senior undergraduate student at the New York Institute of Technology, majoring in Psychology on a pre-med track. As a student researcher working with Dr. Alexander, her research focuses on cognitive psychophysics, particularly using eye-tracking to assess levels of expertise among medical professionals across various specialties.

After completing her undergraduate studies, Ayesha plans to attend medical school with the goal of specializing in Psychiatry. #### University of North Carolina Asheville Alana Delawter is an undergraduate at the University of North Carolina at Asheville, studying psychology. They are conducting research investigating how details in images affect memory across the lifespan.

After completing their degree, they hope to pursue a PhD in cognitive psychology. #### Central Connecticut State University Ashley Carter is an undergraduate researcher studying Psychological Science and Mathematics/Statistics at Central Connecticut State University. Her work focuses on mitigating and empowering vulnerable populations facing adversity.

After graduation, she will pursue a Ph. D. in clinical psychology, specializing in childhood trauma.

#### Texas State University Electra Zatorski is a senior psychology major and president of her chapter at Texas State University. Her research analyzes brain activity during inner speech production by using EEG and ERP methodology. After graduation, she plans on pursuing her PhD and a career in cognitive and social psychology.

#### Texas A&M University- San Antonio Graci is a junior at Texas A&M University- San Antonio, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Criminology. She currently serves as a lab manager in a cognitive research lab and a Psi Chi member. After graduation, Graci plans to attend graduate school for neuropsychology.

#### St. Marys College of Maryland Danny Biller is a researcher in psychology and neuroscience focused on uplifting and creating knowledge for the LGBTQ+ community. Danny is passionate about the ways the mind and biology intersect, and exploring how their intersection creates unique experiences, and what we as humanity share with each other despite our differences.

#### University of Wisconsin-Madison Samantha is a student at the University of Wisconsin, pursuing degrees in Psychology and Molecular and Cell Biology. At the Center for Healthy Minds, her research focuses on the physiological impacts of depression, by examining inflammatory biomarkers. Her work explores how the relationship between inflammation and depression persists across clinical populations.

#### The American University in Cairo Mahitab Elhelow graduated from the American University in Cairo with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Mass Communication.. Mahi has focused her research on developmental psychology, specifically how childhood experiences affect well-being in adulthood. She aspires to become a child psychologist and create a meaningful impact on younger generations.

#### Texas A&M University Morgan Peace is an undergraduate researcher at Texas A&M University studying Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience. Her research with Dr. Joshua Hicks examines how self-alienation influences the link between ostracism and meaning in life. Colby Gainer is a junior at Hendrix College pursuing a bachelor of arts degree in psychology.

She developed a passion for research at the intersection of music and therapy. Her work investigates how psychoacoustic features of music, specifically pitch and tempo impact physiological and psychological of stress recovery. #### St.

Mary's College of Maryland Nadia Lonnberg is a student researcher exploring cognitive psychology, with a strong focus on memory and learning processes. Driven by a passion for understanding how people acquire knowledge, she aims to contribute to research that may enhance teaching methods and promote effective lifelong learning strategies. Katie Oshins is a senior at Emory University majoring in Psychology and minoring in Neuroethics.

Her research focuses on how affective and cognitive processes interact across development. She is also passionate about science communication and advocacy, aiming to use research to inform policy and public understanding. Darby Robertson is a senior at Harding University majoring in Psychology and Criminal Justice.

Her research explores how shame and pride influence facial expression mimicry, aiming to quantify the link between emotional disposition and nonverbal behavior to deepen understanding of emotional processing and communication. Marguerite Bartlett is a senior neuroscience major at Wheaton College.

Her research investigates the neurological interactions involved in stress responses after music listening, utilizing EEG, salivary cortisol, and psychological stress scales. After graduation, she plans to pursue a graduate degree in neuroscience. #### University of California, Santa Cruz Audrey is a senior at University of California - Santa Cruz, majoring in Intensive Psychology.

Her research with Dr. David Menendez explores how parents and children discuss different human traits, such as disability. After graduation, she plans to attend graduate school and pursue a career in Clinical Psychology and Developmental Psychopathology. #### Arizona State University Chloe Reyes is a psychology major at Arizona State University whose research focuses on gamified learning and public health education.

As a first-generation student, she is passionate about using behavioral science to promote change in underserved communities. Yangduoduo Luo is a senior at Boston University majoring in Psychology and Neuroscience. Her research focuses on how emotional and social processes shape individual and group behavior, and how these dynamics impact individual functionings.

#### University of San Diego Maddie is a junior psychology major at the University of San Diego, and is planning to pursue a Ph. D. in Clinical Psychology after graduating.

Her research interests include positive emotions, coping mechanisms, resilience, anxiety, depression, therapist-factors/therapeutic alliance, and the research-practice gap in Clinical Psychology. #### Saint Michaels College Yamuna Turco is a senior at Saint Michaels College in Vermont, with a double major in Psychology and Political Science.

Her research with Dr. Sarah Nosek deep-dives into the growing field of political humility and political media bias. She plans to pursue a career in research and political news analysis. Mai Le (Thi Ngoc Mai Le) is a senior at Dickinson College, double majoring Psychology and Educational Studies.

Mai developed an interest in psychology through her bicultural upbringing in Vietnam and the US. Her research interests include psychometrics, barriers to mental health care access, and global implementation and adaptation of mental health interventions. ### Lillian Angelique Shern #### University of Michigan, Ann Arbor Lillian is a senior majoring in Psychology and Organizational Studies.

Her interest in organizational behavior and workplace psychology was sparked by the impact of COVID-19 on her family and broader communities. Her honor thesis centers on understanding workplace survivor sentiment and workplace dynamics. #### New York Institute of Technology Amy Patel is a senior studying psychology at New York Institute of Technology.

Her research with collaborator Dr. Robert Alexander examines the effects of focused meditation on visual perception. After graduation, Amy hopes to attend graduate school and pursue a career in clinical psychology. Katherine Lanni is a senior studying psychology at Wheaton College.

Her research with collaborator Dr. Katherine Eskine examines the relationship between music, physiology, and executive function. After graduation, Katherine will attend the Tufts University Doctorate of Occupational Therapy graduate program. ### Ariana Espinosa Grimaldo #### Texas A&M University- Central Texas Ariana is currently a senior at Texas A&M University - Central Texas, pursuing a bachelors degree in psychology.

She currently serves as the vice-president of her Psi Chi chapter and is a research assistant for Dr. Malin Lilley’s research lab, focusing on topics of social psychology in college settings. Katy Svitak is a senior studying psychology at Hood College. Her research examines the impact of mental health campaigns on self-identification with mental illness, perceived control over problems, and perceived need for professional treatment.

After graduation, Katy hopes to attend graduate school and pursue a career in mental health counseling. Gabe Jones is a senior studying cognitive neuroscience at Harding University. His research explores whether there are dispositional differences between students with learning disabilities and those without learning disabilities in their pursuit of an undergraduate education.

He aspires to pursue a career in neuropsychology. My name is Ansley Hirth, I am finishing up my senior year at Elmhurst University. I am a psychology major, and my current line of research surrounds parental well-being and disparities of happiness between mothers and fathers and hope to apply this to clinical psychology through graduate school.

#### Texas A&M University-San Antonio Miranda Bernal is a Bachelor of Science graduate currently completing a masters degree. They gained valuable experience through internships and research during their undergraduate studies, showcasing a commitment to academic and professional growth. Miranda Bernal is passionate about advancing their expertise and contributing meaningfully to their chosen field.

#### Arizona State University Lucy Tomlinson is a senior studying Psychology and Justice Studies at Arizona State University. She has focused her research on legal psychology, with an emphasis on eyewitness identification research. Lucy aims to continue contributing to research and obtain a PhD in Clinical Psychology.

#### University of Masschusetts Dartmouth Fiona Marques is a dual-degree student in Psychology and Studio Arts at UMass Dartmouth, where she explores trauma and resilience through both her research and sculpture. Her work, influenced by personal experience, addresses domestic violence, mental health, and resilience, aiming to bridge the gap in research and clinical practices.

#### Tennessee Tech University Nick Woods is a baccalaureate alumnus of Tennessee Tech University who graduated May 2024. While at Tennessee Tech Nicks research explored public health, stress, experimental existential psychology, and alcohol abuse. Nick is currently employed at a behavioral science research and evaluation firm and is seeking a PhD in clinical psychology.

#### Pepperdine University Anna is a senior studying psychology at Pepperdine. She is currently conducting research in the knowledge of others social motivations upon first meeting. She hopes to attend graduate school next year to continue on her studies in psychology.

#### Southern Methodist University, Berea College Syakira is an international student from Indonesia studying Psychology and Computer & Information Science at Berea College. Her research focuses on the intersection of developmental research and technology, including child-technology interaction and learning technology. Upon graduation, she plans to pursue a Ph.

D. in Clinical/Developmental Psychology. #### Oregon State University Alina is a former president of the Oregon State Psi Chi chapter and a third-year undergraduate student double-majoring in Psychology and Computer Science.

They will be applying to a PhD program in Artificial Intelligence and hope to gain knowledge in the application of AI tools in education and cognitive psychology. Allison is a senior at Barnard College studying Psychology and Sustainability. She is working on her senior thesis in the Environmental Science Department and is interested in how the psychology of decision-making can be applied in sustainability contexts.

#### University of Nebraska Kearney Mason is a first-generation student who returned to college after having served in the U.S. ARMY for 10 years. His passion is in clinical Psychology with a focus on veteran and adolescent populations. #### St.

Marys College of Maryland Katerina Scott is a recent graduate from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. An art and psychology double major, she links these fields in her research on the implementation of art therapy with Ukrainian refugees.

After graduation, she will work as an NIH Postbac before applying to Counseling Psychology PhD programs. Hannah Hinterleiter is a soon to be alumni of Allegheny College where she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She focused the majority of her research on Legal Psychology topics such as exonerees, interrogations, and decision-making of potential jurors.

She will be pursuing her Masters at Towson University for Experimental Psychology. Sarah Thorman is a student at Allegheny College, graduating in the spring of 2024. She is a psychology major who has gained research experience in the JUSTICE lab, a psychology and law research group.

Justinne Katigbak is a senior at Clark University, studying Psychology with a minor in Education. She is interested in conducting research on how creativity in the classroom influences child development in different cultural contexts, specifically in the Philippines where she was born and raised. #### Arizona State University Vincent is studying Psychology and Biochemistry with a minor in Disability Studies at Arizona State University.

He is a Bidstrup Foundation Fellow, an Ambassador for the Research for Inclusive STEM Education Center, and a mentor for the Achievement Mastery Program to guide incoming students with disability identities transition to college. Bridgette Browning is continuing her education in the Drake Masters program for counseling and rehabilitation.

Bridgette currently works at a Domestic Violence Shelter which fostered interests in studying traumatic sexual experiences in young women. Other interests include working with students on campus to promote mental well-being. Her goal is to continue conducting research to improve targeted, affordable mental health services to help the community.

His main research foci involve forensic evaluators perceptions and decision-making with ancillary interests in bias, metacognition, social attitudes, and information consumption.

#### Black Hills State University Lexie Bendigo is a junior at Black Hills State University majoring in Psychology and Human Services with a minor in Sociology. Interested in the psychology of childhood trauma and its impact on adulthood, following graduation, she plans to pursue a master’s in counseling psychology and become a licensed trauma therapist.

#### Southern Connecticut State University Jordan is a junior completing his bachelor’s degree in psychology with a concentration in mental health. His research focuses on the psychological factors that influence undergraduate student academic behavior (e.g., inclination to study, mathematical placement, classroom participation).

#### Wake Forest University Smruti Patel is a senior at Wake Forest University majoring in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience. Interested in behavioral neuropharmacology, she looks to gain a better understanding of reward pathways and addictive behaviors. Following graduation, she will be pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience and continue to develop her interests in understanding the neurobiology of motivated behaviors.
