University Subsidies for Teen Olim is sponsored by Nefesh B'Nefesh. Provides subsidies for university tuition to new immigrants (olim) who made Aliyah during high school.

University Subsidies for Teen Olim - Nefesh B'Nefesh University Subsidies for Teen Olim University Subsidies for Teen Olim If you made Aliyah during high school and are now considering university study, you may be eligible for subsidies on university tuition. The subsidy is provided as an annual grant, in accordance with your course load.

Olim who studied in an Israeli high school are entitled to assistance in the following circumstances: If you became an Oleh coming up to the end of your studies you will be eligible for a grant only if two academy years have not passed from the day you became an oleh.

(Not including army and Sherut Leumi) If you are not an Oleh and you finished your studies and you went back to the states and 7 years have not passed since you finished the program you are eligible for a grant as long as 1 acadamy year has not passed from the day you became an Oleh.

(Not including army and sherut leumi) If you finished the program and did not change your status after graduating and you lived in the states for more then 7 years then you will be as an oleh that has not graduated from the program. The beginning of school is valid whether you’ve started with the grant or whether you haven’t.

Students who studied for the matriculation exams in 10th – 12th grades in a language other than Hebrew Graduates of the Gesher program Students who arrived in Israel after March and began their studies in 11th or 12th grade in September of the same calendar year If you fit into one of the above categories and you received deferment for military service, you are still entitled to assistance if you begin your studies within one academic year from the time that you graduated high school.

If you are a high school graduate who finished national service, you are entitled to assistance if you begin your studies within two years of finishing high school, not including the time spent in national service. If you take a particularly heavy load of courses and your tuition is above the average, you will need to request special approval for the extra subsidy. Assistance that exceeds 150% in one calendar year will not be approved.
