Unsolicited General Grants (Operating & Program Support) is sponsored by The Rose Hills Foundation. Provides operating and program support grants to qualified tax-exempt charitable organizations in Southern California, with emphasis on Los Angeles County.

To date, The Rose Hills Foundation has awarded $4,255,000. 00 in fire relief grants and $3,500,000. 00 in grants supporting rebuilding efforts in Altadena and Pacific Palisades.

The Foundation increased grant awards to several YMCA and YWCA locations in response to their continued critical role in supporting wildfire impacted communities via free childcare, mental health services, essential supplies, and more.

Pacific Palisades Park and Recreation Center LA Strong Sports and Steadfast LA have forged a public-private partnership with the City of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation to fund, redesign, and rebuild the Palisades Park and Recreation Center.

This privately funded project aims to revive the heart of the Palisades community, creating a vibrant space for families to gather, play, and create lasting memories for generations to come.

Foothill Catalog/Habitat for Humanity – San Gabriel Valley The partnership between Foothill Catalog and Habitat for Humanity - San Gabriel Valley (Habitat SGV) reflects a shared commitment to rebuilding homes and strengthening the Altadena community after the devastating Eaton Fire in January 2025.

Foothill Catalog designs the homes with care and intention, while Habitat SGV leads the construction and implementation, ensuring families have access to safe, affordable housing. A meaningful milestone in this collaboration is the completion of the Wood family’s home, illustrating how thoughtful design and community-driven effort come together to create lasting impact.
