primary schools. ˜30% The US-Uganda Orphans Education Fund (UUOEF) is a 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization, with a mission to provide hope for the future of economically disadvantaged and orphaned Ugandan children who are interested and able to attend secondary school. Since its inception in 2004, UUOEF has enabled over two hundred orphaned students to complete their secondary school education.
Most graduates have continued their post high school education at government funded vocational schools or universities, in order to become productive members of Uganda’s society and economy. It is through donations like yours that have enabled such positive, life-altering changes in the lives of these young people. We are grateful to everyone who has contributed over the years.
If you would like to learn more about our organization, to provide donations, or wish to volunteer, please follow the links below. UUOEF awards financial assistance to the top applicants and commits to supporting the selected students until they graduate from high school, as long as they continue to meet the program’s criteria. Support might also include housing and food.

Three out of ten orphans of secondary school age attend secondary school. Education provides hope and a brighter future for the young orphaned victims in a country that has suffered through devastating civil wars and a ravaging AIDS epidemic. Food and clothing may give the students life today, but education gives them hope for tomorrow .
