S FUNDING OPPORTUNITY FOR HEALTH PROGRAMS** On March 6, the U.S. Department of State released the Advancing Global Health Annual Program Statement (APS) to establish a process to create new foreign assistance award that operationalizes the America First Global Health Strategy.
The APS will serve as an umbrella platform for development and selection of new U.S. foreign assistance awards from grants, cooperative agreements, or government-to-government partnerships, with a performance period of five years or less. **TWO AREAS OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS IN LAOS:** Rapid Outbreak Response: Projects that enable rapid, effective response to infectious disease threats and reduce cross-border spread of pathogens.
Child Development, Care, and Protection: Programs that protect vulnerable children from violence, exploitation, and neglect while promoting safe, nurturing family environments. **WHO CAN APPLY? **U.S. and foreign organizations, including private enterprises, universities, faith-based and community organizations, public international organizations, and governmental institutions.
