USDA Rural Business Enterprise Grants (RBEG) is a grant from USDA Rural Development that funds economic development and job creation projects in rural areas. The program awards grants to promote rural business development through the Rural Business Development Grant program.
Eligible applicants are public bodies and government entities, Federally recognized Indian Tribes, nonprofits serving rural areas, state agencies, towns, communities, institutions of higher education, and rural cooperatives organized as nonprofit corporations. For-profit entities and individuals are not eligible. There is no maximum award amount, though smaller requests receive priority.
