US Open Legacy Initiative In recognition of Coco Gauff’s 2023 US Open women's singles title, the USTA commits to the refurbishment of tennis courts across the country, as part of the newly created US Open Legacy Initiative.

The US Open Legacy Initiative supports resurfacing projects at school and public park tennis facilities, with an additional $2,000 awarded on top of the typical Tennis Venue Services (TVS) contribution.

Integration of technology on tennis courts to enhance the playing experience and assist with facility management, including SmartAccess gates, video broadcasting and streaming technology, scoreboards, and electric line calling ("ELC") systems that meet ITF Silver accreditation or higher.

Installation of amenities and facility features that enhance tennis court accessibility, including widening gates, installing ramps, and paving pathways to create a more inclusive environment for all players, regardless of mobility.
