Value Added & Regional Food Systems Grant Program is sponsored by Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. This program provides grants to establish, retain, expand, attract or develop value-added agricultural processing in Michigan, or that expand or develop regional food systems or access to healthy food.
Projects may include food hub development, food access, value-added food processing innovation and equipment, technical assistance (including feasibility studies), outreach, and training. A minimum 30% cash match is required.
