Venture Miami Scholarship Fund - Fall 2 Cohort is sponsored by The Miami Foundation. The City of Miami and The Miami Foundation partner with local postsecondary schools to offer scholarships to at-need City of Miami and Little Haiti residents accepted into STEM or defined-demand occupation programs.

Venture Miami | The Miami Foundation Venture Miami Scholarship Fund The City of Miami and The Miami Foundation partner with 6 local postsecondary schools to offer scholarships. The Venture Miami Scholarship Fund provides tuition gap funding for at-need City of Miami and Little Haiti residents who have been accepted into STEM or defined-demand occupation programs at participating colleges, universities, and trade schools.

Participating Institutions Florida Memorial University Florida International University All College & University Deadlines: Creative Hub Rolling Deadlines: At the time of application, applicants must meet the following criteria: Must be a City of Miami or Little Haiti resident Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident For College-Credit Programs: Be a high school senior or a recent high school graduate (within the past four years) who is pursuing a degree, certificate, or license in a STEM program or high-wage/high-demand field and provide an official high school transcript or GED certificate.

Be accepted into a participating school Must be a Pell grant recipient determined by the Florida Student Aid FAFSA guidelines. Be accepted to or currently enrolled in a participating vocational program and pursuing a certificate or license in a STEM program or high-wage/high-demand field To confirm City of Miami residency, use this address lookup tool and type your address slowly in the box.

If your address appears, you’re within City limits. If it doesn’t, you’re outside the City of Miami. Note: The City of Miami is only a small part of Miami-Dade County—not all county residents qualify.
