Serving Breathitt, Knott, Leslie, and Perry counties, the program is designed to help older adults, people with disabilities, veterans, and low-income individuals remain safely and independently in their homes. HDA's experienced carpenters complete high-impact repairs such as roofing, flooring, and accessibility ramps. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and submitting an inquiry form does not guarantee immediate service; HDA staff will contact applicants to discuss eligibility and next steps. The program is funded through a combination of grants and charitable donations.
