The trustees will consider a range of factors including the projects or items being funded, the number of beneficiaries, the importance of the grant to the applicant organisation, the efficiency of the organisation and the needs of the beneficiaries. Funding Round Closing Date Eligibility Checker and Forms This is a rolling funding programme, with no specific closing date.
Applicants may submit no more than one application per quarter for all funding streams. (But if a previous award exists, the application will be accepted 6 months from previous award date.) And no more than ene application per quarter may be submitted, with the quarterly periods being 1 st January – 31 st March, 1 st July – 30 th September 1 st October – 31 st December.

Key dates for Standard/Salary Grants funding rounds: The Veterans' Foundation encourages you to submit an application as soon as you can complete it, but the deadlines for submission of standard and salary grant applications are by midnight on: 30th March 2026 - for a decision by end of June 2026. 30th June 2026 - for a decision by end of September 2026.
Limit to number of applications: Due to high demand in grant funding applications, please note, if you have an existing grant award, you may submit an application for a new grant after 6 months from the date of the previous award.
