Maryland Veterans Trust Fund | Department of Veterans and Military Families Maryland Veterans Trust Fund Veterans Trust Fund Grant Application Our mission is to provide vital grants to veterans and their families, ensuring they receive the assistance they need to thrive. Apply Here . The Maryland Veterans Trust Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a core program of the Maryland Department of Veterans and Military Families.
The Trust Fund provides one-time grant awards to help veterans, surviving spouses, and members of the Maryland National Guard overcome financial hardships. The fund is governed by a Board of Trustees and chaired by the Secretary of the Maryland Department of Veterans and Military Families. The program is funded through donations from community partners, individuals, and other mandated state revenue partners.

Requests must include: Delinquent rent or mortgage payments Delinquent car and insurance payments Reimbursement for emergent car or home repair DD Form 214 or other proof of military service Proof of Maryland residency Past-due notices or bills Lease, mortgage statement or utility statement Vendor contact and payment information Explanation of the financial hardship and plan for stability of the grant is awarded This schedule occurs each month to support timely application processing and applicant notifications.
