Walmart Community Grants

Spark Good Local Grants is a grant from Walmart and the Walmart Foundation that funds local organizations to address the unique needs of communities where Walmart stores operate. Grants of $250 to $5,000 support nonprofits and local organizations that meet community needs, build pride among associates, and deepen customer relationships. Eligible applicants are organizations operating locally and directly benefiting the service area of the Walmart or Sam's Club facility from which they request funding. Applications are submitted through the Walmart Community Grant portal. Priority is given to organizations addressing basic needs, hunger, disaster preparedness, military support, and community resilience in communities surrounding store locations.

Lowe's Hometowns Grant Program is sponsored by Lowe's. This program aims to restore and revitalize community spaces across the country through physical renovations. Consumers can nominate a community space in their hometown, such as a neighborhood garden, park, or community center. While broad, it can apply to infrastructure improvements within a community context.
