Water Stewardship Grants - The WASH Foundation Water is the most critical resource on the planet, vital to sustaining biodiversity, protecting ecosystems - such as oceans, wetlands, and rivers - and supporting livelihoods all around the planet. The Drop by Drop Project is a collaborative initiative that sets out to reinvest capital from Sands water stewardship efforts into innovative projects. This grant is by invitation only.
Water savings from our corporate partner conservation programs are converted into Drop by Drop funding that is then awarded to local water champions for projects that increase local water resiliency, reinvigorate ecosystems, incubate new water solutions, and engage the community.
Bringing workplace water saving practices into employee's homes Encouraging our guests and visitors to save water during their stay Reducing the water footprint of hotel operations through conservation and diversification Collaborating with suppliers to innovate for water efficiency Drop by Drop from Sands water stewardship efforts and their employees, guests, visitors, and suppliers.
Safeguarding and restoring ecosystems Promoting early-stage innovation and solutions scaling for response to floods, droughts, and other water-related risks Boosting awareness of water We are currently implementing water projects in two regions where our primary corporate partner, Las Vegas Sands, operates: Macao, and Singapore.
The WASH Foundation is a global health organization committed to improving the quality of life for vulnerable communities around the world through programs and partnerships focused on WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene). Sands is a developer and operator of world-class luxury resorts.
