Weatherization Assistance Program - PA Department of Community & Economic Development Weatherization Assistance Program The Weatherization Assistance Program empowers community organizations to help recipients make their homes more energy efficient Pennsylvania’s Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) helps low-income households save energy, lower utility bills, and improve home comfort and safety.
Funded by the U.S. Department of Energy and administered by DCED, WAP is delivered through local agencies in all 67 counties. Since 1977, the program has helped thousands of families make lasting, cost-saving home improvements.
