Wellness Inspired School Environments (WISE) Grants is sponsored by BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Foundation. These grants help K-12 public and private, nonprofit schools implement their Alliance for a Healthier Generation action plans as part of the Healthy Schools program.

WISE grants address AHG evidence-based action items in one or more of six required topic areas: Policy and Environment, Nutrition Services, Smart Snacks, Health and Physical Education, Physical Activity, and Employee Wellness.

School Wellness Grants | BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Foundation To support health at our South Carolina schools, the BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Foundation launched the Wellness Inspired School Environments (WISE) grant opportunity for K-12 public and private, nonprofit schools. Applications are currently not being accepted for the WISE grant opportunity.

Alliance for a Healthier Generation The Foundation partnered with the Alliance for a Healthier Generation (AHG) through its Healthy Schools Program to help more schools complete their action plans for creating healthier education environments.
