WV Nursing Scholarship Program - CFWV. com WV Nursing Scholarship Program This program offers awards to students pursuing LPN, RN, LPN teaching certificate, or masters’ or doctoral nursing programs who are willing to work in West Virginia after completion of their programs. The West Virginia Nursing Scholarship program is for LPN, RN, LPN teaching certificate, and master’s or doctoral nursing education students.
In exchange for receiving the scholarship, participants agree to complete a service obligation in West Virginia. Award amounts vary each year based on the availability of funds and may be less than the maximum amount established in W. Va.
State Code. Applications are accepted each award year from April 15th through June 1st through your WVSAM account. LPN and Pre-RN licensure students who anticipate reaching their nursing midpoint date during the subsequent academic year should apply during the open award cycle.
