Sources And Uses - Clackamas Workforce Partnership Independently and in partnership with other organizations, we apply for and receive funding from federal, state, county, and city entities, as well as private foundations. In accordance with the Stevens Amendment, this webpage lists how Clackamas Workforce Partnership uses federal grant money to fund its work.
Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) The purpose of WIOA is to increase for individuals, particularly those individuals with barriers to employment, access to and opportunities for the employment, education, training, and support services they need to succeed in the labor market.
The project promotes and supports skill development of the local workforce through the local integrated model of service provision in our local American Job Center, WorkSource Clackamas. As of July 1, 2025, Social Policy Research Associates (SPRA) serves as the One-Stop Operator in Clackamas County .
WIOA – Adult & Dislocated Worker: WIOA Adult & Dislocated Worker (A/DW) program funds adults and dislocated workers (ages 18 and over) who are from marginalized communities with services including career exploration, employment plan development, training services, job search and job placement services, and support services.
Funding Source: Department of Labor & Higher Education Coordinating Commission Providers: Clackamas Community College & Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (IRCO) WIOA Youth provides resources and support to youth aged 14-24 prioritizing those completely engaged from school, training and employment.
Services include support to complete GED and high school diplomas; participate in higher education, occupational skills training, pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeships; and find and maintain employment.
