Women's Foundation of Arkansas WEM Hub is expanding! In 2026, WEM Hub is introducing a new mentorship matching program. Each participant will be paired with a business mentor for personalized support, networking opportunities, and social capital growth.

Applications are now open for the 7th cohort of the Women’s Economic Mobility (WEM) Hub, supporting women business owners from underserved communities—especially in the Arkansas Delta—with personalized assistance and $5,000 in unrestricted grant funding.
This year, the program will serve 15 participants statewide, including five new spots for Northwest Arkansas, while maintaining its focus on advancing economic mobility for underserved women.
In partnership with long-time supporter, Stone Bank, the Women's Foundation of Arkansas has released a newly commissioned research report examining the economic realities for women in rural Arkansas, "You Learn As You Go": Economic Risk & Reality for Women in Rural Arkansas.
This study was commissioned to better understand how women in Arkansas make financial decisions and the support they need from financial institutions, their communities, and one another. Read the full report here!
Holding It All Together: Working Moms and Child Care in Arkansas The Women’s Foundation of Arkansas (WFA), with support from Ingeborg Initiatives, has released “Holding It All Together: Working Moms and Childcare in Arkansas,” a research report examining how childcare costs, workplace flexibility and paid leave are shaping workforce participation and economic stability for families across the state.
