Scholarships for Women - Asian Hall of Fame Women in Tech, Entertainment, Science, and Sports Supporting women of all races with scholarships and career grants. Women In Tech, Entertainment & Sports Prize welcomes scholarship applicants of all ethnic and racial backgrounds to receive $500 to $5,000 to stay in school and pursue their passion.
The grants honor the spirit of resilience, and encourage young women to pursue their academic goals. Women in Sports grants empower athletes from high school through pre-professional to stay in school and receive sports training and gear, competition travel, and other vital support. Special consideration is given to Oregon student-athletes.
Women In Tech grants empower middle school girls through early career professionals with STEM degrees, credentials and conference participation, incubator launches, and other support. Special consideration is given to Washington students. Women In Entertainment grants empower pre-professional talent with industry-related training and travel, project launches, and other arts support.
Special consideration is given to California and New York talent. In 2019, Inductees and stakeholders voted to make empowering women a top Asian Hall of Fame philanthropic pillar. Today, AHOF has advanced millions in scholarships and grants to help women succeed.
Special attention is given to women overcoming significant challenges to pursue their passion and stay in school. Former Gates Foundation Chief Information Officer “Asian Hall of Fame changed the trajectory of my life. AHOF supported my STEM OPT extension on my F-1 Visa and can also provide a cap exempt, H-1B Visa.
Through AHOF’s scholarships and career grants, I’ve been able to pursue my dream of becoming a UX designer. I’ve had the opportunity to launch meaningful projects that span research, design, and innovation.
From developing sustainable design strategies for our new center, to designing Inductee nameplates and Connie Chung’s Centennial Medal, to leading our website redesign, I’ve been able to apply my full range of skills in exciting and impactful ways. Thanks to AHOF, I can focus my energy on growing professionally and creatively in the United States.

Women In Entertainment Grant Recipient “Because of AHOF and their Women In Entertainment project grants, I am able to make rent and pay for groceries each month. I am encouraged to have a flexible schedule and to keep my focus on acting.
Since I joined AHOF, I have been able to take time off to film three different short films that have helped me gain footage for my demo reel and to act in multiple workshops at reputable theatres in Los Angeles and San Diego. Not only is Asian Hall of Fame helping me fulfill my basic needs, it is also elevating my network as an artist.
