Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) - Florida Department of Health The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program supports eligible women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, women who have recently been pregnant, infants, and children under the age of 5 years, who have a low or moderate income, are at nutrition risk, and who live in Florida.
A nutrition risk is a condition such as underweight, overweight, low birth weight, low hemoglobin or hematocrit, prematurity, or chronic disease. Foster Children on WIC: English | Spanish | Haitian Creole Are you pregnant, a new mom, or a caregiver to a child under the age of 5? If so, you may be eligible to receive benefits from WIC.
Use WIC’s eligibility tool to see if you qualify by answering a few simple questions. Income eligibility guidelines require a total household income equal to or less than the amounts shown in the WIC income guidelines OR you are income-eligible if you are currently receiving Medicaid, temporary cash assistance (TCA), or food assistance. However, you do not have to be on a public assistance program to qualify for WIC.
