26 years helping local women and children in need! WOMEN’s mission is to help less fortunate women and children in southwestern Pennsylvania. As part of that mission and in addition to our philanthropic event, money is disbursed from September through June throughout Western Pennsylvania to help charities with emergency situations.
Should you have a suggestion of a new potential recipient, please contact the Philanthropic Chair at info@womenofswpa. org . An Emergency Fund is also available for various emergency requests during the year.
With government subsidies to public service organizations shrinking, it is up to the private sector to do as much as possible to compensate for funding cuts. We are proud to have disbursed over $1,000,000 in 25 years from proceeds from our fundraisers.
