Women's Fund Grants is sponsored by Greater Green Bay Community Foundation. The Women's Fund awards grants to organizations with programs and services that positively impact women and girls in the community.

Women's Fund of Greater Green Bay - Greater Green Bay Community Foundation Details about the program Women's Fund of Greater Green Bay Investing in women creates stronger families and communities. Through its endowment, the Women’s Fund of the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation supports programs that expand opportunities for local women and girls. Since 1995, the Women’s Fund has awarded more than $1.

5 million to empower women and inspire girls throughout Northeast Wisconsin. The term ‘women and girls’ includes anyone who identifies as a woman or a girl. Programs that encourage and develop self-esteem and leadership in women and girls, especially those ages 9-15. Programs uniquely designed or specifically geared to women or girls, or for their particular challenges or situations. Imaginative, results-oriented projects.

These may be ongoing, expansions, or modifications of existing programs. Programs resulting in measurable, positive change in our community. Projects that demonstrate women and girls served are involved in planning and implementation of the projects and programs.

All applicants must have a 501(c)(3) IRS tax-exempt designation or be a governmental, educational, or religious organization. The program must provide opportunities for or meet the needs of women or girls in Brown, Oconto, and Kewaunee counties. Conduct business without discrimination on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual preference, age, marital status, disability, or national origin.

Faith-based organizations are eligible to apply if their services are designed to benefit the broader community, are open to individuals of all faiths, and do not require participation in religious practices such as prayer, worship, or religious education. Programs would focus on community benefit rather than faith conversion.

Program or project support Equipment related directly to projects Other priorities as determined by the Grants Committee Grants will be made for programs that support and expand opportunities for women or girls helping them to be healthy, to be safe, to learn, to achieve, to compete, to realize their dreams, and to be successful in their lives. Grants will be made for programs that clearly meet a need of women or girls in our community.

Grants will be made to programs that promote healthy relationships and support women and girls, including those programs that serve men and boys. Grant reviewers will look for organizations that consult and collaborate with other agencies to enhance existing programs and augment opportunities.

Annual appeals, capital campaigns, sponsorships or other fundraisers Debt retirement, debt financing, reduction of an operating deficit or replenishment of resources used to pay for such purpose Lobbying or legislative activities Programming or expenses occurring before the grant is awarded Efforts substantially serving people outside of Brown, Kewaunee, and Oconto counties Organizations who seek funding to disburse to a secondary-nonprofit organization.

Requested programs cannot be “half” of a program that is designed for boys and girls, or men and women. Programs for boys and men that relate to healthy relationships and support women and girls will be considered. To submit a grant request, apply online .

Recipients will be contacted by Foundation staff via email near the one-year mark following their award with options for completing a brief final report.
